Made a firewall ground by to frame and didn't fix it. How important is it for the park sockets to need to be tight against the frame I mean it's already grounded from the wire correct? No idea what happened but now I only have flashers
I believe the frame wall of the socket needs to contact the bulb base and the prongs on the bottom also need to touch their respective wire(s) (especially two pron base)

Update: I now have everything back except cluster indicator light for left turn signal but the signals work their sides individually now!!! When I push the hazard in I'm also not blinking on the left side as if the bulb is bad or maybe the printed circuit right at that spot? If that printed circuit gets bunched up from top to bottom when the bulb goes in is it possible that caused this whole thing can that much really control that much of my turn signal circuitry when I have everything coming from the turn signal cam switch down hitting a relay etc.?!

The truth is I have the cluster out on an angle because I don't want to pull it out completely because of the oil line is a pain in the ass to take off and put back on I'm trying to get in there on an angle maybe with my video camera and see how the circuit looks. Going to try a new bulb and maybe bend the tangs a little.

Maybe now is the time to add the LEDs because I really don't want to go back in there once it's fixed lmao.

Ok upon inspection I see one of the contact flaps outward on the printed circuit part entry where to the plastic connector goes in. I bent it back in but didn't change anything. Swapped the bulb but same thing. So everything works except the left turn signal indicator light in cluster.

I could see how if you bent one of those over onto another it could also be a cross over issue. I really don't want to have to replace the printed circuit if I can help it. I may take a break and order some LED's. Then try to get it out straighten it and possibly tape a little to support it.

they are quite old and new ones are quite affordable So I would not hesitate to replace if it has issues staying where it should

It's strange because the other cluster printed circuit is supported going across, but this one is individual strips at the end. Yes it's old but the rest is in excellent condition for a 73/74 cluster. These printed circuits aren't cheap at $70-100, so I'm going to try to put a micro dot of super glue on the non contact side to hold it down and try to keep it straight. Think it's twisting as the plug comes into the port. I'm going to order some LED's and take another run at it. At least all the signals / light are working properly now. Just down to a single indicator light bulb. As Rick flair would say... wooooo!
Is the twist base for the bulb holding secure against the indicator? The plastic on those things sometimes go bad and the base cant hold the connection because it has gotten losose or cant be turned all the way lol

No I believe it's the tab at the connection port not the bulb. Those bulb socket tabs can be bent slightly to create tension. I'm gonna pull the cluster and check every detail it's hard to see behind it on an angle.

Got the cluster out, it's definitely a crossover at the tabs. The left side indicator tab is the issue. I'm trying to to glue them now. Otherwise I'm going to be forced to get a new printed circuit.

Anyway it's a 50/50 shot this will work but if it works it works. The right lower one is kinda jacked but will see once I carefully plug it back in. The rest of the printed circuit is good. Ordered LEDs today, I'll try plugging it back in once the LEDs get here next week. At least the mystery is over of where the crosserover was happening.

After doing some gluing and cleaning I now have continuity from A to b points for that indicator light bulb socket to corresponding tabs. So as long as the clip goes in straight I may have a chance. Made a video but said it's to large for the server.
