What longtube headers should I buy that will not have any fitment issues I recently bought patraiot headers h8047 passenger side fit so good and the driver side was goin good till the first tube was hitting the motor mount but other than that no other issues. trying to get the most performance out of headers and fitment what's everyone opinion on specs when it comes down to flange thickness primary tube diameter etc
My opinion is that any long tube header is going to net better performance than any manifold that was ever put on a square body. An eighth of an inch here or there is going to net a negligible difference so I would consider which one is gonna fit the best and know that you've got a good flowing exhaust so if you want more rear wheel power, you'll need to turn to things like cam, heads, carb, and gearing to make it work for you. My brother bought some of the Flowtech ones from Autozone, and it required some denting to clear a spark plug. As far as part number, someone suggested a few weeks back Hedman 69230. I don't know what you have, but it says that it fits 4x4 Action Line and Square Body trucks.
