header bolt ?

Is there a different between a header bolt and a "regular" hex bolt other than the fact that header bolts have a smaller diameter head. Like are header bolts engineered specifically for higher temperatures or something like that

You need the smaller head so you have enough clearance to tighten them. It still is a little tight occasionally.
