This truck has not had a lot of work done on the inside and thats good i like the old stock radio kinda cool it survived all these years.
that being said id love to have a CD MP3 player and even a DVD screen
so when we go camping (love the middle fold down split seat) or have kids with us they/we could have something to watch.
it still has the overhead console..maybe a screen on either side..? big drop down just past the console..?
any ideas would be of great help

I wish I was a bit closer too. It would be fun to have someone closer to play trucks with. :baby:  I remember as a kid, me and my bro's would make roads in the dirt and play cars and trucks all the time. Or course playing cars and trucks is a little different these days.

Well, you can run a CD changer for CDs and modify your original cassette player for an AUX input using a 3.5mm headphone jack if you're right handy around electronics.

This is the setup in my 1991 S10 Blazer.
You must be registered for see images attach

The headphone jack cuts the radio signal as soon as I plug it in and I play my knockoff iPod through the factory speakers in CD quality.

You can get those mobile DVD players that hang over the headrests too.

Bob, if you plan on hagning anything off the roof behind your current console, check out my headliner thread for suppot locations. :waytogo:

As a matter of fact, I need to go measure centers of them and post it in here in case somebody could use that info. :hmm:

Thanks Retro that solves my sound issue just get a good set of speakers..im not a thumper..like to hear all the music..i and the wife have i pods with a few thousand songs

The DVD screen is where im wavering at i have to pull down my headliner and do it,i could install a 12" screen..notch the dvd bezel about .250 and it would almost look factory....issues with that idea too

Man, I'd get one of those 2-screen sets from Target or Bestbuy that hang on the headrests, then run the 3.5mm cable from the headphone jack to your ipod input for that "theater sound".
