Been having way too much fun engraving whatever parts I can. Finished driver side door handle, with matching engraved vent window latch assembly. Also touched up the step-up bumper’s license plate lamp guides, because why not?!

That is beautiful work. You could probably go into business doing that kind of thing.

My only question is about corrosion. Most of this stuff is plated pot metal or galvanized steel. Are you doing anything to restore the protective finishes or is this for garage-kept show truck only?

WOW!! That's amazing work. I have zero talent and patience for stuff like that - but really appreciate the work!! I could watch someone do it, but after about 2 minutes I'd give up.

Thanks, I’m a jeweler by trade, so this seemed like the natural next step. As for preventive measures for rust, the lamp guides have a thin film of enamel in the cuts. As for the door handle / vent window assemblies, once I finish the passenger side I’m sending them off to be clear powder coated to keep that raw steel look
