My name is Todd. I cant remember what I was researching online, but this site came up on the list and I liked what I saw. Little bit about myself. Im 28 and have lived in Montana my entire life shy of one year spent attending Wyotech in Laramie Wyoming. I studied diesel technology while there but only worked in the field for a short time. Currently have worked as an alignment tech for the last 8 years. Always been a die hard chevy man, and have owned quite a few trucks over the years. Just recently purchased my first house on 2.2 acres with a 900 sqft finished and heated shop. (Plenty of room to work on my toys!) Now onto a little of what brought me here.
I have always admired the square chevys but my passion has been with the 69-72. I currently have 2 67s and one 72 (two parts and one builder). A coworker had purchased a 1984 K10 swb from another coworker and asked me to help him fix it up for his sons first vehicle. When we began I told him if he ever wished to sell it to come to me first. It used to be an old sherrifs truck and isnt the prettiest thing you have seen, but by far not the ugliest either. The guys at work nicknamed it Mater (from the movie Cars). He and his son changed their plans and so now I am in posession of "Mater". And so begins the tale.
I look forward to fixing up Mater and gathering information and sharing what I can with all you fine folks along the way.
