Looks awesome. Im in the process of tearing mine down getting everything how i want it then gonna have a shop paint it dark metalic blue or midnight blue with black flakes in the paint not sure though. Awesome job

The kid put some flake in it, but I didn't want anything extremely fancy. I plan on doing the interior this summer

Yea i got some plans for mine to. Gonna put a modern interior in it. Gonna be a ground up project.

What do u guys think of these fender flares? I kinda scratch the paint trying to screw em on:( u can tell when the are on sooo on they stay lol

I can live with or without them. I sometimes wonder too if it's not a good place for water to get trapped behind them and cause premature rust issues.

For me, I'd leave them off If I had a vehicle painted. Then later on the down the road if I had a scratch in the paint or damaged opening from a tire rub or blowout, then I'd have a good reason to use them to hide flaws and use them. As I said, I could go either way and not have a problem.
Now if thiese things do damage over time, you can always step up the bigger plastic or fibreglass flares to hide that damage. Amd they don't have to be painted to match. You could always go with black ones on any other color paint since the tires will be black and they'd flow good. JMO. I just try to avoid flares for fear of rust behind them is the biggest problem I have with them.
