Wish I had seen these before I installed headers. They look nice...
There was a 3 month lead time to get my hooker headers. At that time there was a steel shortage.

Just ordered a set of the 8525HKR naturals for my '84 Scottsdale 5.0 from Summit. Found out that the passenger side manifold is leaking slightly since it is missing a bolt. I was only able to tell after the water pump which was absolutely howling was replaced. I guess my outdated California emissions package will be coming off after all. Now I suppose this means I'll need a new HEI distributor too!

Question on these hookers. Are they a direct replacement for our existing manifolds? Or close to?

Reason why asking is cause I want to rebuild my cross over pipe but can't afford both so if I were to do cross over pipe now then down the road install the headers. The pipe mount flange looks different but thats a easy fix. Its the outlets if there in a different spot. Not so easy fix

They look so close though.

I might be the first for trying I guess. I plan on painting my chassis over Christmas break here and it would be super easy redoing my cross over pipe with no body on. It dives me nuts hanging down below the t case. Yours @SquareRoot turned out deadly.

@ Originalthor,

They may be the same exit point. I had long tube headers so I can't compare the manifolds. Thanks for the compliment.
