I have been dying and trying to get these for several month's now. Everywhere has been out of stock. I put in for the "notify me when they become available again" at the Holley website. The site said it would be October before they expected them. Well, today I got the email and had a set ordered in ceramic black within 10 minutes. These must be popular, cause even Jegs and Summit were backordered for months. Woohoo, this makes my day! And that's not a typo, Holley owns Hooker, in case you didn't know.

How much are they? Are they supposed to be good? They look great. I've never seen them before.

Price varies depending on coating. I like the black ceramic, they are $347.00. They have plain cast iron and a silver or titanium ceramic coating. They're supposed to fit great, have a true 1 5/8th tube size and a 2 1/2" collector. They are better material, high silicone iron than any factory manifold. People that have them say they love em. I'm tired of the header fiasco on a truck that doesn't need them.

Where I live you can't buy them, you can only rent them and you have to drive 8 miles outside of town to get one, but they are available 24/7. They do come in several colors.

I was once a Marine. I won't say I'm not familiar with the Mustang Ranch. ;)

Sorry, but being from Nevada I just couldn't resist, and I enjoy slow humor that takes a moment to sink in.

My understanding is the foundries are backed up all over the country ever since covid started. Dynatrac axle housings and other high quality cast steel parts are backordered all over...

Are they supposed to be good? As far as I have known for my entire life, Hooker headers are THE headers to get, of course they're supposed to be good. Maybe it's possible that scientifically they're not the absolute best one can get for one specific reason or another, but as far as I know, yeah they're f-ing supposed to be good lol

Just now ordered a set! A really good buy, I think, because some places sell a pair of crappy Dorman stock replacements for almost that much.

Summit says they're out of stock until Aug 3, so I guess we'll see if they ship then. But I'm in no rush. I like Summit because their warehouse is 50 minutes away from me, so it's easy to return things.

Next step is ordering some mandrel bends so I can make the connections from manifolds to exhaust pipes without crush bends.

BTW, a friend of mine has set of cast iron Hookers for the LS engine in his 55 Chevy. Very nice quality.

Mine are on the brown truck at the moment. Should be knocking on my door any minute. I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. Lol

First impression.... they're awesome! Heavy....very heavy. Excellent quality. The ceramic finish is smooth as glass. No casting or flashing marks. Can't wait to build my new exhaust around these bad boys.
