I see what you are talking about now. Could be a difference in the year of production, or maybe the taller 1-ton frames have that different bolt pattern at the top. Not sure about that. But they are definitely squarebody tank brackets.

Id like to mock this up on a squares brakcets. it appears to have taken straps like squares do
