I recently had my 700 go out in my truck i was driving it down the highway doing 75mph and was in 4th but then the trans went into 1st all of the sudden and would not go out of first so i pulled the trans and had it rebuilt buy some joker who has had it for 5 months and just finished it i am really upset about that but i dont want to blow it up any ideas on if i need to baby the transmission for the first 1000 miles

Five months??? Did he install a flux capacitor? If so, you should baby it until it's ready for time travel then punch it to 88mph and enjoy the trip!

Make sure you adjsut the TV cable correctly and verify your adjustments w/a pressure gauge, assuming you haven't done this already...Other than that, keep an eye on fluid level for the first few drive cycles, top off if you have to. Other than that, no specific break-in procedure is required.
