I did look at a ton of schematics, but they’re all so goofy You can hardly tell what goes where. All I know is when I reach under the dash and jiggle the hell out of the headlight switch, things start working.

Some moron had painted this piece white before I got the truck and after sending most of it off, it just looked like crap compared to the rest of the truck so I decided to sand it all down and redo it.

Took the fender that I bent all to hell off and beat the hell out of it. Luckily the whole truck is a **** box so I didn’t need to put any filler on it. This is a reproduction fender, I can tell by the LMC sticker on the inside. It fits mostly great, but not where it counts. Had to really bend the crap out of it to get the door to be able to open. Need to find a survivor fender.

Went ahead and gave it the **** box patina paint package. While I had the fender off I was able to use a big ratchet strap and bend the bumper back.

85 and humid here today but supposed to get a cold front tomorrow down to the 30s. I gotta let the fender cure and then I’m going to give it a good wet coat of Poppy’s patina, I did the door the other day and it’s slick as hell. I think the problem last time was that I only did one coat. Now that I’m going back over it it’s really nice. Luckily I bought the extended pack with two bottles of hardener and clear.

You are doing a kickass job of blending all those defects in and/or removing defects. I don't think survivor fenders really exist though. Pretty sure the rear edge of them rusted on even the southwest trucks.

Thanks, and yeah they rot pretty bad there. Thought about finding a decent one and cutting a patch in and maybe it would still mount better. Probably need to loosen up the whole front clip to get things right

Your phone has different picture settings. Or at least, it should. You are evidently taking photos on the higher quality settings, which is too much to upload to most forums.

I did find a workaround with my phone though, with posting photos that I took on higher settings. I just message them to myself, which automatically downgrades the photo quality enough that I can upload them to the forums.
