I have a 305 in a 1979 c10. I got a set of stock manifolds that dump in the middle with 2” collectors. I have 2.5 exhaust tubbing so can I bolt a 2.5 collector to the 2” manifold?

Those stock exhaust manifolds do not work well in a 2 wheel drive square body truck. The middle exit points right at the front suspension cross member. Stock manifolds for the 305 exit at the rear on each side.

You can't use 2.5 on 2 inch.

The 2 inch ramhorns have a rear angled exit, they should work on a 2wd nicely.

They make 2" center dumps, low performance,they make 2"angle dumps,low performance and 2.5" center dumps performance engine Corvette.

The 305 would like smaller pipes like 2 inch. Center dump, aka ram horn manifolds are great. Just make sure they'll work with your truck before you get too gung-ho

And no they aren't, that's why I mentioned them. Both ramhorns though
