Hi Team, I am the new owner of a 1976 chevy c20, With LS9 350 4BBL Q-jet, np203 full time 4x4, th350, 14 bolt corp ff rear, d 44 ft. body's rough but runs great.
Purchased from neighbor who is the original owner. actually original owners wife. Ray, unfortunatly suffering from alzheimers. I am quite close to the entire family most of whom are quite close to the truck, and are certain, to the best of their knowledge, that it is the original engine.
There is a tag on the driver side eng block, just west of the oil filter that reads
"Remanufactured by National Engine and Parts co", "Engine Code # 3768E",
"Engine Stock # 72626" affixed with what appears to be blue rtv silicone.
The engine # stamped on the pass side engine block, behind the alt reads
C4B113327 V1O03TMM
I have researched National Engine and Parts and found next to nothing, has anyone ever encountered this company before? I double checked the engine # thinking the C4B might be CE, as in factory remanufactured but it is C4B. Any information about my mystery engine would be appreciated.
Thanks Patrick
