E-brake sticking after rebuild

Ok, not seeing this scenario and thought I'd ck for suggestions.
Rebuild rear brakes @ betty blue build.
Problem just started happening...
Released the parking brake before pulling out of the garage, but it was still ingauged. I was thinking are rear drums too tight? Moved her forward, still holding, again and they Released. Release lever and foot pedal come up, so thinking something at drums. Happened again, when I took my daughter to the pool.
This is drivers side done.
I reused shoes, little wear, and may have gotten the two hold down springs backwards.

I learned about drum brakes from an old timer mechanic. You take both drums off, but only work on one side at a time. That way you can always compare what you have done to what it looked like before you started. This ensures that you always get all the parts back in the same location and orientation. As for the parking brake sticking, lift the rear tires off the ground, and apply the parking brake. Then release the brake. Then spin the back wheels by hand. Which one is sticking? Then pull both drums and see whats different on the sticking one VS the non sticking one.

Crawl underneath and pull on the cables by hand. They should retract completely when released. I replace many cables when doing brake jobs. It's one area that seems to get easily overlooked.

Yes sir, I did one at a time. Good info on lifting.

Okay, thought about cables. Didn't know if there was a location I may need to dry silicone lube or something.
