Driveshaft carrier bearing.

How do you determine which size carrier bearing you have? The truck is a 1987 R30 flat bed. There is a 1.38 ID and a 1.575. I have tried measuring them, but you can't really get the calipers on it. Any help is appreciated!

Options:

Call the dealer with your VIN, and ask them the price of the part and the part number. Then give the part number to a local parts store. Or punch that part number into Amazon, eBay, Google shopping etc.

Buy both sizes on Amazon, and do a free return on the unneeded one. Don't even need a box, you just take it to UPS and show them the QR code that Amazon gives you. Just hand them the part and that's it. Refund within minutes.

Separate the 2 pieces then it can be measured.

And dam it I was going to post buy 3 of each from Amazon and a tube of right stuff. Return thev5 you don't need and glue the new one in place. But he beat me to it!!!!
