Door lock knob rod

Where do I find this rod that comes up thru the top of the door panel to manually lock/unlock the door. My driver side was broken when I bought it.

I checked, and it doesn't look like they reproduce the door lock rod that comes off the actuator. I'd be heading to a junkyard to find one if I were you.

Thanks for the replies. Good to know I wasn't the only one that didn't see it in the aftermarket. I'll see if there are any yards around here with a truck but I'm in the middle of no where CA so fingers crossed. Might have to take you up on the offer ajdemello, thanks.

I was going to try to help you with a part number/availability last night. The parts DWG calls it simply "ROD" - nothing else, I figured it would be easy to pull your number. But then I looked at the parts LIST and the number of possible choices - Holy F*ck:

Well I found it but of course it's discontinued... Any one have one of these laying around on a parts truck? I have a 79 C10 and it's the driver side rod thats broken. Thanks for the assistance so far.

BTW, part number is: 14039767 LH - 14039768 RH
