Mine ride like a trampoline when cold but once they warm up they smooth out. I've heard of people cutting out the balancing pad inside the tire (looks like a thick pad of rubber) and putting half of a large can of airsoft bbs in each tire to balance them out. If all else fails they could be a bad set, out of round.

My 44's I used the balancing pad's and had the tire's shaved (they were a little out of round) and that helped out big time. You will alway's have some vibration until they warm up though. But anyway you need a tire shop that will spend time on them to get them right , most shop's just give up.With 38's you might be able to use a combo of clip on and stick on wieght's with a shave and be all good. The down side is they sometime's come off in the mud. Find a good tire shop that deal's with big rubber , (good luck).

I see in the other thread that you have SX's, they are known to be out of round. Might as well fill them with concrete, lol. I had a very shaky set too, I ran them on the freeway once, and since I didn't feel like adding lock washers to every bolt on the truck, I chose not to run them on the freeway ever again.

Mine were really bad though, there's no way I could of had them shaved... there would be no tread left on one side of the tire.

...They did ride nice when you weren't on pavement though.

I just bought a set of 44" PitBull Rockers. If I don't have at least 16 psi in each tire they bounce like basket balls. None of them are balanced and I expected to have have a little out of round trouble. I now run 18 to 20 psi in each tire. After they warm up they ride a lot smoother and the truck handles way better than it did with the Ground Hawgs. I have had the truck over 80 mph out on the highway. The faster I went the smoother it got (scary smooth, trucks like mine don't ride smooth, comes with the territory). Try playing with the air pressure.

Those feet look great man, have you ever considered getting AGs? From the videos I've seen they make what we struggle in look like a cakewalk.

Thanks... Yes I have considered AG's but some of those tires are very heavy. If I ever put my 2 1/2 ton axles under the truck I will definitely run tractor tires in the mud.

I know people using them and I've heard mostly good reviews. The only negative thing I've heard is that until you reach about 35 mph they don't help. They need time to distribute themselves were they need to be. I may still try them.

I must have had a defective set of tires then. I ran 16oz of bb's in each... didn't smooth out at any speed.

I have the airsoft bb's in my 39.5" Super Swampers. I recently put them in there and the baggies haven't broken yet so can't give you a 100% that it works, but from everywhere I read, that's what works for tires above 36".
