Thank you all.
I like to make the stuff I need if I can.
In all reality it does not take all that long to produce the terminal ends.
I have all the stuff sitting around the garage, so by the time I got in the car and found what I wanted locally I could have already built these.

I need to make a new set for my truck, but I will wait until I get the new battery tray and hold down for it.
Do it all at one time.

Just an observation, why didn't you put shrink wrap on the two little wires as well?

A most excellent question that I have no real answer too.
But, I think I will on the next set that I build.
Thanks for the observation.

I make my ends out of copper tubing also. What are you using for crimpers? I bought a pair of bolt cutters I was going to cut notches in the jaws as crimpers, been using a dull chisel and hammer.

I have used a dull screwdriver and hammer.
With just enough hammer to drive an indentation and not through the copper.
I still have the first set on my VW that I made for it 15 years ago.
They fire it right up.

Just finished building the positive cable for our truck. Gotta say, it was pretty fricken easy over all, if you can play with a torch and smash the copper tubing with a mild amount of precision, you should be able to do it.

So easy, my kid can do it!

He put the cables on the truck this morning and they work like champs.
Now to get the other ground cables made and installed.
