i am restoring an ‘84 Suburban pulled Manual transmission w/transfer case. To separate those two, is it as easy as simply unbolting them and pulling them apart? I’m not sure if there are any tricks. Any help is appreciated

Just be aware of the weight and awkward position you may be in if you are laying under the vehicle pulling it. They can be a little heavy when you are on your back with little room.
