Disconnecting/Reconnecting the battery

Probably a dumb question, but what is the best way to disconnect, then reconnect the battery? Is it Negative then Positive, to disconnect, and Positive then Negative to reconnect?

Doesn't really matter other than if you do the positive first and your wrench hits something it will spark. If you do the negative first it won't since the entire truck is the ground. And then when you do the positive the circuit is already broken, and can't spark if you hit something. So for that reason I like to disconnect the negative first.

Disconnect negative first. Reconnect negative last. It's mostly only important for ecm,s
