Disc brakes conversions

Does anyone know how to convert from drum to disc brakes using calipers and rotors from a different vehicle trying to locate part's from a local junkyard tight on money this would be for a 1983 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton truck bought all the parts for a drum replacement but thinking more on disc brakes several videos on the Internet but can't find anything for the 83
