I have aquired a dana 60 front end with dually hubs and im wanting to convert it to a single wheel setup. I know I can switch the hubs out but im looking for a less expensive way of doing it. Any help is much appreciated.

DRW hubs can be turned down to SRW hubs BUT there's a long standing arguement about the final product being safe fo street use. The is a quck write up on this in the D60 bible on pirate4x4.com (tech article section).

In the end, since SRW hubs can be bought for about $400 pair, machining a set is probably not much cheaper unless you have a friend at a machine shop.

one option is you can run hummer h1 double beadlocks, they need DRW hubs, or wheel spacers

I done the conversion with dual wheel hubs on my blazer

I beat the **** out of it off road with 38'' tsl swampers and a arb front locker

and daily drove it on the street the axles lives on but the blazer got parted out

it narrows up the front a little but I ran 16.5 wheels with no issues

If I used tbe h1 hummer wheels, what kind of spacers would I need for the rear?

reality you don't need a space at all it WILL fit, but to make it look normal I would say a two inch spacer

this is for the rear only

After pricing wheels and everthing that goes with them, there isnt much of money difference
