I'm finishing up the interior of my '84 square body and was wondering if anybody has come up with a way to protect the carpet on that round cab bottom adjacent to the door on each side of the seat. It's such a compound rounded shape that there's no way to get anything to fit it and then stay on for any length of time. You would think LMC, Classic Parts, etc. would get one of their suppliers to produce something out of plastic which could be secured in place. It seems every time I get in and out of my truck with dirt on my boots, some of that dirt almost always get attached to the carpet in that area. Thanks in advance for comments.
