Good and bad 6x9 cab corner brackets

I'm looking at putting 6x9 speakers in the rear cab corners of my 1986 K10. Brothers Trucks sells a pair for $152.95. Classic Industries has a set for $99.95. 73-87.com has a set for $70. Then, if you look around on Amazon and Ebay they're all over the place for less than $20 to maybe $30.
Are the $70 and up brackets really that much better? What have you guys used and liked or didn't?
I do want something that I'll be able to seal to the cab well so I can have an actual enclosure around the speaker. I'm not looking for a bracket to just hang the speaker in mid air.

amazon specials are workable. Maybe small gaps, but I didn't use any sound deadening material. Should be fine....put your savings elsewhere.

I recently picked up some Amazon ones. I will say you’re going to want to pre drill your holes in em. Cause there isn’t a single friggin one lol how they fit in the corners on my 74 is decent. I’m going to be running kicker components thru out my truck. I ordered foam buckets to go between the speaker and the mount so they will sound crisper.

If I had to buy em again I would buy ones that have pre drilled holes. Just for headache sake

The one's on 73-87 are the originals. Far as I know, all the others are copycats.

I bought these off a guy that makes them on FB (if I remember correctly). A buddy powder coated them black.
I didn’t want to put in the work to seal them and went with a box instead.

I will give these to anyone willing to pay shipping just so I don’t have to throw them away.

They need to be wiped down (which I can do )

Get the cheap ones. The more expensive ones may be a heavier gauge metal?, but that's pretty irrelevant in this case. They're just holding speakers in place, that's it.

I got the 73-87.com ones and very happy with them. Just had to paint them, and I covered the back of them with stick on sound deadener,

There is a thread here with several discussed. I bought a cheap set from amazon and they work just fine and are not flimsy.

Thanks everybody. I kind of shot the middle and got the ones from LMC. The metal seems plenty heavy and they fit pretty well. I'll need to seal up all the edges where they don't meet tight to the cab. I want the back of the speaker to be sealed well for better bass. I'll probably fill in behind the speakers with fiber fill or insulation or something for damping.

I will say mine have no bass. The volume is probably way too much to help. I do plan on making a 'box' to go on the inside to help. Just haven't figured out how yet.
My daughter's boyfriend is into 3d printing. I'm sure he can figure something out for me.

I installed a set from Amazon. 6x9s. You will need spacers if you install speakers with a decent magnet size. Pre drill the holes for the speaker mounting holes. Use sound mat.
