I quit reading after seeing this...
"Actually scratch building a GM body and correcting the poorly engineered GM drivetrain, by using Ford running gear and frame !"
:flamingdevil:
And the fact that he is going with the TTB instead of a 60 front, and a 60 rear instead of a 70, I began losing interest. Just another mall crawler.

Would you have expected anything less from a Ford site??

What can't be denied is the guy's ability to fabricate and build. He may not have built it to go out on the trails and stuff but I know I certainly could not build from scratch what he's built.

I read the whole thing today, it took many hours. He barely learned how to weld before he started that thing, its insane how similar it looks to the real thing.

If I ever built anything like that from scratch, I wouldn't even let people around it never mind rocks. The guy has done an awesome job.

Astonishing skills. The man definitely has an eye for details. Doesn't seem to be much fun to drive though, I'd want to get it out in the pasture and make a mess of things!
