Anybody running one of the Comp Extreme 4x4 cams? If so which one and how do you like it? Was looking for a cam with low to mid range torque and these looked promising.

I ran a Comp with a nearly identical grind to one of the 4x4 grinds, off hand I don't remember which it was. It worked well and did a good job of making low end torque without being weak up top.

Anybody have a suggestion for a good cam with a good torque curve right thru the rpm range. Going with a 2200 stall and a set of dart 180 heads with 10:1 compression. Looking for about 450hp and torque.

the comp truck cam is a awsome cam. It works great in a truck that pulls or is heavy because of the low end grunt. in my big blocks we are running the equivelent to the 427 tall deck cams. Just be warned 10:1 compression will not last on any of todays pump gas, if you are going to put under any load. we are back to running 9;1 after several engine fails.
