Hi everyone, I am posting this looking for feedback. I’m a high school auto shop teacher and I have a V2500. My High Sierra fender emblems are shot, and I can’t find replacements. I had my 17 year old son draw them up in CAD, and I had one of my students who is a talented machinist carve some out on a CNC machine. They’re not perfect, but getting close.

The hardest part of making these is almost done. Once we have them perfected, it would be pretty simple to make several sets.

My question for you all- how can I gauge interest to see if anyone might want to buy a set? I tried posting on a couple Facebook groups and got in trouble. Not looking to ruffle any feathers, just thought I could help some guys out and maybe get some parts $$$ out of the deal.

Cheers!
Hi Mike, I just came across your post, are you making these now?

Sorry for the lack of replies to everyone. I’m truly sorry to leave you hanging. I don’t get online much anymore. Both of my students graduated (one did the design, the other did the CNC work). The designer is my son, and I’ve finally got around to having him recreate it in solidworks. Making them in my shop is going to be difficult, so I am looking into having them made elsewhere. I don’t know if it is going to be cost prohibitive, but will do my best to make them happen.
