Dumb question coming. My '77 has a tach cluster, but all I can find in good condition is the large fuel guage with the blank out.

I assume that the wiring harness is the same among all square bodies, so these should be interchangeable?

Not to concerned about the tach until I go for full break down. I just need to get this truck back on the road so I can start hauling stuff to the dump. But I want to have the important guages working (fuel, temp, oil pressure, amps).

Thanks,
The S.

I think 1977 was the last year for the mechanical oil pressure gauge. From my research, you should be good with a 1976-77 cluster. In 1978, they went to an electrical oil pressure gauge. 1975 and earlier had an ammeter, avoid those.
