It’s my fault. Just found it. They didn’t send a locating pin with the crank and flexplate. When I was in a hurry with the limited time I had help, I got the flexplate 180 out. Totally on me. I was sure I had it right and I looked at it but here we are. Part of being human.

Usually pressed into the end of the crank at least everyone Ive delt with it was. Can't say I've ever had one not already installed.
Yep, nothing in mine at all. I thought to call them about that but thought it unnecessary. Boy did that ever bite my dumb ass.
Actually, it would be a good idea to call and let them know. Perhaps it would inspire them to improve their quality control and help prevent it from happening to one of their other customers.
