I've been reading on some other archives,I have not personally tried this yet,I probably will before too long but not today. Anyways the 60 degree V6s and I'm not sure which 2.2 are using roller lifters that are shorter than the 5.7 roller lifters, supposedly they drop right into a non roller sbc,and you have to modify the rest of the pieces from a roller engine and do some grinding in the valley area. Passing this along in case any of you maybe in a spot where, you might want to investigate.

The 60* V6 didn't get roller lifters until the 3X00 series, which started in '94 for some models.
