Went to the Charlotte Auto Fair last weekend. Lots of new and used parts vendors, and cars for sell. Held at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

I almost went to that but I had way too much going on. ive heard the one in the spring is better. Gonna try to make it out to that one. Im going to the diesel show this weekend at zmax. Should be pretty interesting (oct 5-6)

Spring one is much bigger. The fall one you can go through in a day, spring, aspire 2 1/2 days!

Didn't get the price on the GMC. It was one of many nice squares for sale.

I went with friends who had a 55 chevy and a 1970 Buick riviera for sale. Got a deposit on the Buick but an hour later the guy came back, the sale of his car fell thru so he did not have the cash to complete the deal.

I did find a grill for my 74, was looking for a cowl hood but didn't find one. One guy said he could order me one for 350 plus 185 shipping. I told him that is why I was looking at the autofair, I didn't want to pay shipping.

Most of the squares I saw had nice paint jobs but not much else. Most had worn interiors and they were still asking 10K or better for them.

I am planing to go to the spring one, like mentioned above it's a lot larger.

I go to the Autofair every spring & fall.

I will be with the Comet East Car Club on the front stretch grass. Look for this car..
