I have a stock edelbrock 750cfm on my 350ci mild cam vortec heads. I am thinking about switching to a Holley 500cfm racing carb off a dirt track car that's Ben modified to the gills. What do you think would be my best choice.

I would pass on a new Edelbrock for a worn out Holley. Q jet would be first choice though.

Kind of a thread jack here but I see a lot of mention Of quadrajets. I've got a 305 with a 2bbl rochester. I want to upgrade to a 4bbl. I'm not looking for a race purpose, I want to keep streetable but good for towing and hauling. Right now my carb needs some work. It drips gas after I shut the truck off flooding the engine. Would a quadrajet fit the stock 305 intake? I haven't seen a 305/350 intake that wasn't 4 holes square pattern even on other trucks the same age

You would need a 4 barrel intake. Make sure your isn't just a 2 bbl adaptor.

I'm thinking its a spacer. Gota check for sure. All the engines in the junkyard were missing carbs and they all had a 4 bbl intake. Any mods that need to be done to put the quadrajet on? Will all the linkages and such fit with no issues?
