well my 2007 Silverado 1500 Z71 is getting a lifter replacement done by the local GM dealer only because they are covering 1/3 of the price..lol anyway while they are in there im having them stick a Comp Cams XFI AFM/VVT cam in and change all the springs to LS6 springs even though it says on the description doesnt require updated springs im still gonna upgrade them anyway...the cam isnt very big just 220/232 @.05 and .500/.500 valve lift with factory rocker arms and a 115 LSA...wont do a whole lot but maybe after a CAI and Custom Tune might get 45-50hp over stock which is plenty on a Stock Drivetrain i think.

that what im hoping since it has a 115 LSA. not really expecting alot of performance gains until i get some money saved up for long tube headers and high flow cats, and having to relocate O2 sensor with harness extension...ugh...i have cat back flowmaster system on there right now but thats it

yeah thats what ive been told. but header and duals with cats on those trucks are frecking expensive as hell..lol thats whats holding me back...im spending a ton on the lifter replacement and cam as it is..but i needs the lifters since they are tapping when you first start the truck up....so im doing the cam while they have the engine torn apart...which is costing me 2 grand and thats with GM covering 1/3 of the price lol
