Cam suggestions L31-R

I am going to be installing a Vortec crate engine and fitech in my truck this fall and was hoping to get cam suggestions for the stock motor as it comes. Searching now for something with usable power and torque.

Only plans so far is longtube headers, summit stage 1 intake manifold or similar and the fitech 600hp version in case I decide for more power wayyy down the rd.

No, that's OK. What I really know is the flat-tappet cams for the SBCs. The BBCs and the roller cam stuff I don't have any experience with. But I'm happy to help with some pointers. Those sites I linked have all the discussion the OP could want.
