According to the calculator, running a TH350 you would be making 6102 feet per minute, x 60 (minutes) = 366120 / 5280 (feet in a mile) = 69.34 MPH at 5,000 RPM.

So even with the tall tire, compared to something in the 27-28" inch range, that's still crazy high. Oh well, high range it is:)

That's not a cheap OEM converter.

Even if a person had no idea what that is, they still would know it's expensive. Nice!

The billet looking hub told me it was at least 800 and I was thinking 800-1000/ Evem a bot more pricey than I expected. But, that's the kind of money you have to spend for a good one. Just don't give that one away as a core someday. You can always have it opened up and freshened up for about 1/3 the cost.

Ordered the Trans-go HD2 shift kit from summit, they had the lowest price at like 77 bucks.

Just for my own knowledge so far the list goes...

Torque Converter-bought

Trans-go HD2 shift kit-bought

Bushing kit-bought

Bast sunshell-bought

Modified 3/4 Z-pak clutch-bought

Extra wide carbon fiber 2/4 band-bought

Crvette servo-already in trans

So what I have left apparently is:

Alto clutch kit-think its about a little over $200

Wide reverse input drum.-$83.50

Howdy!

Well recieved the "3/4 clutch kit" in, supposed to be the "hard street use or strip only" one, the best one they make.

Like I said I ordered the transgo shift kit yesterday and still need two other things...then the trans will be pulled shortly after that and built! Then I'll probably save up for my 4.56 trutrac gears front and rear is only like less than $900 shipped. I'll do gears next cause its cheaper than doing the motor first and cause the truck really needs those gears lol.

Added another $120 bucks worth of parts I neeed to buy....Reason being is that this converter is going to make the trans run hotter, I already have a gauge on it and a trucool 40K cooler. The temps stay around 150 on summer days.

Ive read a lot of problems with the trans lines being ran thru the radiator to cool, they rupture and overheat the trans. happened to a guy I know, his FLT took a crap that way. Plus getting the trans fluid away from the engine coolant heat will lower the temps too.

So the plan is to run nice braided stainless hose from the trans, bypass the rad cooler, nd straight to my trucool 40K. Then back to the trans. The fittings and hose I'll need with run me a little over 120 shipped from summit. Plus it will look great being stainless with all the other "show" mods done the the truck.

Heres the parts list if anyone is interested in doing this on their NBS also...just in case
