Cab Support Channel

I honestly cant tell, does it run under the floor, and connect to the inner fender up front if so than thats it, what should I call that?

I refer to it as the thingymajig under the cab

Yeah, for some reason they give me strange looks. I always just figure it's cuz I'm talkin' over their heads with these big technical terms.

From what I can see its bolts to the inner fender in the front and idk out back, and it just runs along the floor as like a support

wow mine if broken in half and that support peice that is bolted to it is nowhere to be found.

I am afraid you are going to have to either fab one or find a donor truck body that has a decent one but to get it off will be a bitch.

If the 73-87 ones are similar to the ones that have pics, they are just regular cab supports, not what he's wanting. I would go to a steel shop and see if they have any heavy gauge sheet metal scrap and fab one, and weld it in.

Ya once again thanks for the help, I think I am first gonna look at some parts trucks for the peice if not ill make one
