C20 Tire size equivalents?

Probably a question for 3/4 to 1 ton owners more than anyone else, but what tire sizes and brands/models do you all run? Im restoring a 79 C20 and keeping original stock steel wheels with the bowtie alum caps, but wonder what size of tire people put on these trucks nowadays?

Truck calls for 8.75 x 11.5 officially, but Im now running 9.5 x 11.5 - but cant find anything in that specific size out there, guessing its an older sizing system, or metric perhaps. Dont know much about tires.

Anyone know what modern size this equates to? So I can shop on websites and such?

Do you mean 8.75x16.5? If going with a 16 inch rim, it's much easier to find tires these days. 235/85/16 seems to be most common stock, it's tall and skinny. 245/75 is a common modern size and a little smaller diameter. 265/70 is another common modern size that's the same diameter as stock, but is a bit wider.

My 83 c20 came stock with 235/85/16s, even says it in the label in the door
