Here we go for round two swing and a misssss dissassembled everything from dually c&c plan was this morning to take srw hub from 14ff off the truck and put it on the drw drum, takeoff the backing plate plate with brakes from drw cc and swap that over to the srw 14ff axle on the truck then add the dually drum with the with the srw hub.. Here is the problemo....
2nd pic you see the srw14ff hub will not accept the wheel spacer becuase of the1/4 in lip and is 2 1/16 wide need it to be at least 2 1/2 wide for the wheel, then spacer then outter wheel to slap together on it. At least im learning and understanding with getting my hands on everything.
3rd pic is with the wheel spacer not mounting flush to the wms

Question for setting pinion angle. The whole Idea is to get the pinions matched up parallel for correct operating angle? I was goin to go off the what's on the truck but checking it today I found that it 6deg difference from the slip yoke on the 205 and the pinion on the diff.
Driving pinion 3 degree
Driveshaft 18 degree
Driven pinion 9 degree

When I center the dually under the truck set the springs on the perch can I set the pinion angle at 3 deg and get a CV driveshaft ( has a single u joint shaft in now) built or missin a step?

Awesome! I like the spring hangers too, all sorts of adjustability.

Just wanted to stop by and say THANK YOU. I have been searching high and low for a way to make this work. I was unaware that the C&C axle width was thinner than the regular. I spent 300 on the axle and 6 wheels and tires thinking I would only need to move the perches. I rebuilt the axle, bought the perches, and replaced a whole bunch of parts before I realized the springs wouldn't fit inside the hubs. You've confirmed for me that this is doable and provided me with a template to do so. Very much appreciated. One question. Could you possibly give us a little more detail on your shock mounts?

You will attract a lot attention AND work with this setup. Great job.
You remind me of my own work, detail and picking up a body line here or there designing a deck goes a loooong way to making something
custom look just right.
At the end of the day, it's not really that much more work than a square box for a deck.
And thanks for the build thread and all the photos!
