That's what my buddies grill looked like, when we replaced his on his 74 Blazer. I guess I'm not seeing what you two are. The big cut out was for the hood release.

There's a piece missing in that area.

this "thing" i dont even know what to justify it as, has been for sale for 4 or more years now. i keep seeing it pop up on craigslist here and there. but now i know this guy is desperate. when it was first listed he was asking $18.000. oh and i dont know if anyone caught it but i sure did, his plate says "MEAT WGN" seems to me like someone is a flamer!!!

Are those by chance your pics? I only ask because I've been looking for a set of those valve covers.

While I agree a stock style would look a million times better, I ain't gonna lie, I'd drive that around. It looks cartoon-ish and kinda fun.

Ahh come on bucket. That ain't cool. It's sad really. That would be beautiful elco cries itself down the road.

I mean everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but pick a different car to do that to. That's disrespectful to everything the elco stands for.

Yes, but what's done is done. I would NEVER do that to a car, but if it were given to me already like that, I'd drive it.

I do think it would be easy to make a little more proper again though. If a lot of the nonsense was gone, had a straight front axle with leaves, and maybe some side pipes... it would sort of have a gasser thing going.

the entire thing has been overkilled in every since of the word. i agree it could be cool but **** man that thing has crap accessories all over it. and i agree its very disrespectful to the elco family. i understand the monster truck look thats fine and im perfectly happy with the way it was before someone did a frame swap, but all the crappy flame stuff everywhere?... comeon!!!!:doublepuke:
