There's one for sale close to me as well (link below). It's been for sale for quite a while. Not as nice as the one in your link but still pretty solid and original. Would LOVE to have this truck. Don't see many Gentleman Jim's!!

Yea I have seen that one in the past. Would be cool if a guy had the scratch do do a proper restoration. Would certainly draw a lot of attention. No telling how many of them are still on the road.

The hard part about a restoration I'd think would be the decals and those mats. You may be able to get a good vinyl guy to recreate the decals I guess but those mats would be hard to find. Everything else looks like it's a regular 1/2 tone but with the black and gold color scheme. Definitely don't see many around.

I bet somewhere there's an old man that has a set of those brand new floor mats in his garage, and I bet he could get any stupid amount of money he wanted for them. People like my grandpa that take out original floor mats and put cheap ones down to keep from ruining them. Lol the same kind of people that leave the plastic on the seats as long as possible, then put seat covers on to save the seats.

 Reminded me that my dad told me the other day that he still has original Chevy mats out of an 85 S-10 in his garage that were taken out for the same reason

Hey wait a minute I do that and I am not an old man! Ahhh wait a sec I guess I am over 50. Does that make me an old man? I don't feel like an old man. For the record, I always put a towel down instead of using a seat cover.:)

Some did have a 454 though.

I didn't know that, but it's still a shame the numbers don't match anymore. He should have at least kept all the original parts so it could be put back together. Oh well. Shoulda coulda woulda. Any idea how many came with a bb? All I have ever seen is 350s. I assume they all had auto trans though? Were they all geared the same?

I would make camping a whole easier and being able to take it places a motorhome can't go is a bonus.
