While my 84 Sierra isn't running I thought I'd try something different. Instead of black wiper arms, I went bright. I stripped what paint I could, off, then took them to a wire wheel. Once all the paint was off, I used a drum sander with a buffing drum and polished them up a little. The didn't come out too bad

Found this in my binder of info for my truck. Apparently bright wiper arms were stock. It's on the right column at the bottom.

While my truck is down, how hard would it be to remove, clean and grease/lube the insides, of my wiper motor and put it back together?. It's really slow when it first starts so thought it might help to clean it of any old grease etc, and lube the linkage at the same time. My washer pump on it doesn't work either.
Thanks everyone

The mechanism in the cowl didn’t take me too long to disassemble clean and grease, I can’t say for motor disassembly though.

IIRC someone on here had a good write up on rebuilding the wiper motor
