Hey guys/gals, does anyone know what this goes to? I have a 1979 c10 with a 305. I did a head gasket so had it mostly torn apart. I believe it’s for the power steering pump but I can’t figure out how it would go.

Don't recognize that bracket. What accessories does it have? What sides are they on? Does it have air or an alternator on that side above the power steering? Might explain why I don't recognize it.

It’s a mess cause the truck came with a 6cyl and someone put a 305 in it and it has exhaust manifolds off of something else. No there is nothing above it. The alternator is on the other side.

I have owned a bunch of these trucks over the years and don't recognize it. it may be a leftover from what the engine originally came from or has like AC in the previous vehicle.

Someone else may recognize it but it may not be a needed.

The bracketry for power steering pump only is pretty basic.

That's s power steering adjuster bracket it ties into the AC bracket that should be behind and above the power steering pump. You can bolt a piece of strap to the head and bolt the power steering pump to it.
