Disassembling a 14 bolt SF and there is a lot of residue and some flaky rust in the axle tubes and center section. What's the best way to clean this out? I was thinking a hot tank but not sure if there are any near me large enough for a complete differential assembly.

Long wire Brussels bore brush, cut handle off and attach to a drill, could hot tank it, I would likely just wash it out and spray some penetrant - it’s sealed in the axle tube, long as it’s clean when you reseal it’s moot

There should be some kind of drill attachment for bigger pipes, for like plumbing. Probably like a 2.5 or 2 3/4 wire brush. With a long "handle"
