Hi,
So i have an 83 k10 i bought a short while back. When i was looking at it to buy, noticed the bed was a bit higher than the cab, and pushed over to the passenger side a bit. You can pretty easily notice it on the passenger side, its stuck out like an inch more or so than the cab, and the line where the body bends near the top is quite noticeably higher.
The frames straight, the guy selling it said that it was probably not lined up properly when it was put on at one point.
Truck has a 4 inch lift, not sure if that'd have something to do with it

Could this be it, or is there a common reason that this can happen?

Thanks!

Do you have a body lift? Normally, its your cab that usually comes out of alignment, due to bad or collapsed body mount bushings.

Sorry havent replied on this, completely forgot.

No body lift, just what i believe is a 4 inch suspension lift.
Body mounts look ok, anything else could be it?

Sometimes, on the back of the cab where your bushings are, the rail mount(actual cab part) bends(collapses)out of shape. It happens when you jump your truck or really twist the frame in extreme 4 wheelin.
