Just curious were any spacers employed for alternator / pulley alignment, especially on the lower bolt.
Sometimes when changing pulley related items those little spacers tend to mysteriously drop out of sight and be forever forgotten.
Find a good alt with good pulley and check for alignment with crank pulley.

Try this:

Take a piece of chalk and pub it all over the contact points of the belt. Chalk everywhere that the belt touches the pulley. You can also apply the chalk while the engine is running, which is faster and easier - but far more dangerous.

This may instantly solve the issue, as well as pinpoint what the problem is.

Who, what, why, when, where, etc doesn't matter unless it works. So I would just give it a try.

Tension the belt normally. Start the vehicle and with it running take a tire crayon, regular crayon, candle, anything made of wax and hold against the V part of the belt, not the top. If the noise changes it is the belt.

How old is that belt? It may be as simple as the belt.

I just spray the belt on the pulley side with glass cleaner or water out of a spray bottle you'll hear the noise go away from a safe distance, and you can spray in front of each pulley individually.

Dove brand soap works really well too. Often it will permanently fix the squeak. Seriously, Dove brand. I'm not sure what's different in it than other soaps.

You are no fun, sticking your hand in a running engine is more cool!

Isn't Dove brand soap made from real Doves?

Actually had a guy at a shop I worked at get his hand in a fan. My boss was pissed because he thinks the guy did it on purpose for workman's comp. IDK about that, I'd never attempt it.

Arm placement and angle is important. Keep clear of the fan and have the belt try to pull the soap or wax from your hand, not push it into your hand. If it's pushing into you, it can suddenly bite and then you have no control over what happens next.

I once watched my buddy's hand get forced between an alternator pulley and belt.

I meant I'd never attempt putting my hand in a fan for workman's comp.

Yeah, I know. I just figured I'd mention it in case anyone reading may attempt it. You have to be cautious.

Oh yeah, and if you start to lose control of the soap or wax... be sure to just let it go. DO NOT try to regain control.

Lol yeah, I believe doves and also baby seals.
Dawn is made from ducks, why else would they put a duck on the bottle?

I got why during the BP oil spill, they showed a duck being cleaned on the bottle, but now theres a duck there just chilling.

Clearly, they are making ducks into soap

All this talk about ducks is making me hungry for a box of quackers.
