Working on a backup cam in my 88 Burb that should run through my Kenwood stereo. It needs a backup light input to switch the radio to display the camera. Does one exist in the truck or am I stuck putting it on a toggle switch?

Depends if yours is a manual or auto. Light green wire under the dash I believe is the backup light. Should be on the steering column by the firewall

Power to the camera usually comes from tapping into the hot lead (the wire that gets power when the transmission is in reverse).

My backup camera has a built in two position switch and can also be on while driving or in reverse.
