AVS2 throttle cable adapter?

Hey guys, Just bought an AVS2(#1906) to throw on my 84 k20 HD, sm465, 350sbc. i had a performer on before and the throttle cable liked to stick and it had no adapter for the cable to the carb, is there a bracket you guys recommend using to fix the awkward cable angle on these?

I run the Summit version on the rear carb of my tunnel ram with dual 1904s but it only has the throttle cable bracket and is basically the same price, so the above is the better deal.
