Just epoxy black primer for now. Debating if I want to assemble it first or keep it apart so it stays lighter in pieces until the body is ready. Going at a snails pace for now. Might pick some pace back up in summer. Taking some classes beside regular work and that has been taking up a lot of night time.

Edit:
Cleaned, oiled and wrapped. Will put away until body is done. Still waiting for some of the backorder sheet metal.

Wow that looks fancy.

Whatchu gonna clear it with?
I actually ordered some direct to metal clear after your post, but promptly canceled and spend 5x as much on a gallon of black epoxy primer and single stage black for the whole under coating part.

"Omg he's NOT gonna clear coat it?"

 cool man - do you. That's a once in a lifetime chance, no? - Everybody else has black differentials already though ... One look at that and all I see is Shellac!

Black is SOOOO not 5x cooler. :( :nono: and youre a cool dude too - i'm honestly surprised @ you.

Decided it does not fit the character of the build. The whole front of the car already black.

Actually not too bad. Tail panel must have been damaged badly as it was fully missing from the package. Otherwise some scuffs on the wheel wells and a rear quarter panel. They are sending a replacement tail panel when available. Tried switching to a non RS panel as it is in stock, but because of price difference from when I originally ordered there is a price difference that would be charged.
