Anyone good with 4L60e?

Ok so i have a 1994 4L60e in my truck. It isnt shifting up out of 1st. Speedo reads zero so i may assume its the VSS sensor on the transfer case.....but the ALDL data shows a proper speed when i start moving. so anyone here have a thought? I posted this also on GMT400.com

There was an article on 4l60e before were oneluckypop mentioned that a fualty sensor can provent the ecm from upshifting. Any idea which to look at? All my engine sensors appear to be functionin good
